Wal-Mart Brossard Quartier Dix-30, Brossard, Québec Automne 2007 Wal-Mart Canada Procam Construction 514 tons 162,000 square feet Petroff Partnership Architects Kasmar Associates Limited |
Detail : The project for a new Wal-Mart store concept at Brossard’s Quartier Dix-30 was successful due to production speed and work area setup. It goes without saying that for Wal-Mart, time is a key consideration and even more so in this case, where the store was slated to open just before the 2007 Christmas holidays. With a worksite less than 30 km from our factory and a results-oriented raising gang, we were able to achieve “just-in-time” delivery of the structural components. This optimized the use of our jobsite workforce much to the general contractor’s and client’s satisfaction. |
