Centre de Transport Legendre expansion Montréal 2008 Société de Transport de Montréal Pomerleau 778 tons 175,000 square feet Provencher & Roy Architectes Pasquin St-Jean |
Detail : This multi-phase project required faultless coordination between the general contractor and his subcontractors.
This project left absolutely nothing to chance including when three 80' 0” trusses were installed under winter conditions during phase 1 and when two 45,000-lb WWF beams were required in phase 2 under conditions in which each of the subcontractors relayed in quick succession. The other phases were also challenging. The importance of rigour and coordination far exceeded the value and tonnage of the components used in the construction. |
